SECURITY  Does Oregon Shores II have it's own police or security force? Oregon Shores is a quiet residential community.
We are not a gated community, nor is there an official security force or need for one.

Our area is served by the Klamath County Sheriffs office.   Our roads in the community are governed by the same laws  as any residential street in the county.    The OSCR  states any speed limits and restrictions in the CC & R's and ByLaws. Residents and those visiting are expected to show the consideration and respect due their neighbors and the rules the owners
all agree to when purchasing property within our community.    We want to feel safe and secure.  It is good to know your way around the community.  There are ways to express or note problems and alert the office.    There is a neighborhood watch in our area.  Watching out for our own community is always beneficial to all who live here.  See the section on speed
limits, and parking within Oregon Shores here on this and the information page.

RIGHT OF WAY:  Any vehicle parked in the public right of way  is subject to being towed away at the owner's expense.  If your vehicle is parked illegally, it's more than an inconvenience.  Your vehicle may be an obstacle for the fire department to get to their fire hydrants or water valves OR - even your home.  Also the OSRC contracted road grader must have adequate room in the public right-of-way to maneuver his equipment.  Please do not park on the public right-of-way,
OSRC will not be responsible for damages done to the landscaping or driveways put in the public right-of-way and may require changes be made.  When designing driveways or landscaping, plan carefully.   Thank  You
The OSRC Board Of Directors  are aware  that there are a few driveways and landscaping that reach into the public right-of-way.    This causes problems when the OSRC contracts the road/snow grader to work on the roads.  Owners are responsible for taking care of this, if you are notified.  Thank You.
